Leading the conversation on women's leadership
Our Chief Human Resources Officer, Maya John, recently participated as a panelist at up! SURGE – Journey to the C-Suite, India's largest C-suite development programme and a flagship women's leadership initiative organised by XL4W: XLRI for Women and the XLRI Centre for Gender Equality and Inclusive Leadership.
As a founding member of both XL4W and the XLRI Centre for Gender Equality and Inclusive Leadership, Maya joined fellow women leaders to share insights from her leadership journey and discuss how organisations can create pathways for more women to progress into leadership roles.
The discussion explored themes including authentic leadership, purposeful career development and creating environments where women leaders can grow and succeed. These conversations align closely with Agratas' commitment to building an inclusive workplace where everyone has the opportunity to contribute, develop and lead.

The programme also included participation from Shaifali Arora, Vice President – Tax and Financial Regulatory Affairs. Reflecting on her experience, she highlighted two key takeaways: the value of building networks that create lasting impact and the importance of leading with empathy.
